4 case files shown.

Case 01

Palm oil mill, Kimanis

Process & Mechanical2023

Symptom
Unplanned steam-line failures, three in eighteen months, each stopping the mill mid-crop.
Finding
Under-lagged sections running wet. Corrosion under insulation along 1.2 km of the header.
Fix
Full header replacement staged across the low-crop window.
Readout
1,200 m replaced. Changeover completed in 9 days against a 21-day plan. No unplanned steam-line downtime in the 31 months since.

Case 02

Berth rehabilitation, Sandakan

Marine & Coastal2022

Symptom
Load rating downgraded to 3 tonnes. Half the berth closed to equipment.
Finding
Chloride ingress at the splash zone. Reinforcement section loss up to 40% in the worst piles.
Fix
Pile jacketing with cathodic protection, deck slab replacement across 14 bays, work sequenced around vessel calls.
Readout
Rating restored to 12 tonnes. Design life extended 25 years. Berth remained partially operational throughout.

Case 03

Water treatment expansion, Tuaran

Process & Mechanical2024

Symptom
Plant at capacity. Supply interruptions during the dry season.
Finding
Hydraulic bottleneck at the flocculation stage, not at intake as originally assumed.
Fix
Additional treatment train, intake upgrade, new instrumentation and control.
Readout
Capacity from 18 to 45 MLD. Commissioned three weeks ahead of schedule.

Case 04

Offshore support base, Labuan

Structural & Civil2021

Symptom
Laydown and load-out capacity limiting the client's contract bids.
Finding
Existing quay apron rated below the required crane loading.
Fix
New 4,800 m² reinforced laydown, quay apron strengthening, pipe racking.
Readout
4,800 m² delivered. Crane loading rated to 80 tonnes. Zero recordable incidents across 94,000 man-hours.
